Boss Mechanics
Lufenia Orb
- You need to give the boss turns but they can hurt you a lot if you are not careful!
- A tank and dispeller are highly recommended; or you can disable their actions with HP silence with Kefka, but he needs to be enchanted since they strong resist magic.
- Avoid delaying their turns with breaks. Try to break them out of order so that their turns are closer to your party’s.
The Imps
- The Imps have 2 stances – Attack and Support.
- For every 10 actions your team takes after the first turn, they will switch roles as a free reaction (can’t be prevented by any means), and the new Support imp will apply a framed 60k Ballistic Shield buff (10x Imp’s INT BRV) to himself. Using high BRV potency skills (BRV cap damage skills) or dispeller abilities is recommended to handle the shield.
- The attack we need to watch out for is Calamity Bomber (BRV Gain, AOE BRV+HP 100% HP damage).
- The Support Imp can buff the Attack Imp with Evil Ration – Attack/+ (ATK, MAX BRV Up) or Defense (DEF Up, Shield (2.5x Imp’s INT BRV)
- The Attack Imp will use Rake (ST BRV), Critical (ST BRV), Command Rush (ST BRV, SPD Down, high turn rate)
- Red auras trigger at 79% and 49% (individual triggers)
- When approaching the aura HP thresholds, focus on the Support Imp first
- They will cleanse the debuffs. The Attack Imp will gain the red aura (all BRV hits will be reduced to 1). The aura will be dispelled after the boss uses the Calamity Bomber.
Moving (even more) furiously
- Triggers at the following HP thresholds: 79% & 49%
- All debuffs (except gold framed) will be cleansed
- The Attack Imp will gain a red aura (BRV hits will be reduced to 1) and readies a Calamity Bomber on the following turn
- Red aura will only be dispelled after the boss uses Calamity Bomber
