Tip: Make a party with two of the required characters + a fast group damage dealer and you can clear the character usage missions while also farming the required monsters.
Note that the mission to clear 5 “This… May be Gigantic” quests does not count stages cleared in Solo mode. You have to play in co-op mode (either hosting or as a guest) for it to count, as mentioned in the in-game notice! Guesting without using bells also works.
Scorpion x40
Relm’s Lost Chapter: A Thousand Words Pt. 6 (Normal difficulty) has 5 Scorpions in 3 waves. You can complete the mission in 8 fights (or 5 fights if you complete all of the Heretics quests first, since they also contain Scorpions in some of the stages).
Alternative:
Events -> Cycle Quests -> Pursuit of Yellow Crystals Pt. 6 has 3 Scorpions in 3 waves. You will need more fights than with the first option, but gain more XP/gil/crystals in the process.

Golden Cactuar x20
Events -> Cycle Quests -> The Golden Cactuars Pt. 6 has 3 Golden Cactuars in 3 waves. You can complete the mission in a few fights while also farming some easy money and XP!
