This is the easiest CHAOS amongst all the ultimate summon CHAOS battles. As a single target boss, it is possible to delay it to oblivion without letting it have a turn even it is immune to paralysis (you can do it with Vayne, Aranea and Leo. The video link is here).

Setzer is the best featured unit from the original banner, as he can freeze the BRV gain while delaying it with his Red Card. Onion Knight excels in this fight due to his Ice element enchant (from his AA) and imperil. The other characters offer some healing utility. Lenna/Eiko/Maria were good for the healing as the CHAOS stage HP requirement is quite strict.

Ramuh starts off with 80% of its recast gauge filled. That means it is going to use Judgment Bolt ( :magic: :thunder: :brv: attack + :hp: attack) on its next turn and summon 2 Crystals after the skill is used, also gaining the Lightning Rod buff. Until you destroy the crystals, it will be immune to any form of HP damage. So, a unit that does AOE damage will help a lot to clean them up so that you can resume kicking the old man’s butt. The Crystals could use Bolt Charge+ to grant Ramuh some BRV and a :buff_generic: 3T SPD Up. Make sure to kill them fast.

It uses Charged Pillar ( :magic: :thunder: :brv: attack) which will inflict INT BRV down which will reduce the BRV and HP regen that your characters get. Other than Judgement Bolt, it will use Interdimensional Glimmer (BRV Gain, ST HP attack)

Like all other summons, it will gain a Resist Veil upon breaking your characters. You need to break it to dispel the veil or your HP damage will be nullified.

Unlike the other summon CHAOS, Ramuh don’t have any troublesome gimmicks. They can be countered easily as long you go with a standard team setup.

Unit that can deal AOE damage is preferred as well since the Crystals need to be destroyed quickly before you start damaging the Ramuh. The Crystals can also BRV battery Ramuh with its Charge+. They can deal HP damage if they are not broken.

Most of the time, Ramuh needs to gain some BRV first before he attacks your party with Interdimensional Glimmer. Thus, crippling it with INT RBV debuff or Poison/Sap will help reduce any potential damage.

Healing is pretty essential here (unless you delay it before it gets any turns) as the HP requirements is stricter than other CHAOS. Units that offers strong HP regen (Leo, Penelo and Lenna) are good unless you are approaching it with burst healing such as Y’shtola, Aerith or Selphie.
