Boss Mechanics
Lufenia Orb
- The orb requires you to keep the boss BRV below 5000. Even if you are giving the boss no turns, as long as the BRV regen is less than 5000, it will uptick the orb.
- BRV gain negations debuffs like Setzer, Wakka (Status Reels Freeze), Seifer EX and Arciela’s LD debuffs are very useful here.
The Boss
- Try to lower their defences down with DEF down debuffs as they have very tanky defences
- The boss’ move sets include framed buffs. A dispeller is highly recommended here so you can free the debuff slots to weaken the boss.
- The boss has 2 auras to watch out for:
- Attack Signal stance – This will last for 2 turns. They will use Yellow Drain or Homing Flies on the 1st turn & followed by Hit High Wind (AOE BRV+HP, guaranteed hit) or Cross Edge+ (ST BRV+HP, delay target by 1T upon break) on the 2nd turn.
- Starving Mode stance – they will target oneself with the message “Starving”. They will use Gluttony Sickle on the following turn (BRV gain, dispel all buffs, AOE BRV+HP, inflicts 3T Fluke debuff.)
- You can prevent it by using either 1 of Turn Disable recommendations. It will become Fatigued.
- The bosses will delay themselves and auto release debuffs – Fluke III at 79% and Fluke V at 49% (A message prompt “Released flukes!(+)” will appear)
- If you kill one of the bosses, the surviving one will raise its stats and restore 10% of its max HP (i.e. 900k)
