Community videos and guides

This compendium is a tool to help players learn how to tackle the Dimensions’ End fights with different team compositions, and also a great way to show off your achievements after crafting a great team to tackle each tier! Use the selector buttons above to choose a tier and find a list of videos sent by great players who wanted to share their knowledge with the community – and if you want to send your own videos to enrich our database, you are more than welcome!

The Tonberry Troupe has created detailed guides covering all tiers of the tower, they are a great source of information especially if you are trying to complete each tier as it comes out. They also have a detailed guide on using Cater to solo tier 13 and below.

DFFOO GL SO (ScottOng11) has created a written guide covering all Dimensions’ End tiers that have already been released, you can check it for some tips in addition to the videos to help plan your teams. Some of those images are at the top of the page for each tier, but the full guide has more information not shown here.

Another great tool to make your planning easier is ootracker.com ‘s team planner, where you can write down which characters you want to use and better visualize your available options.

For newcomers:

Dimensions’ End is a series of battles that are permanently available, and a large portion of this game’s endgame content. They are some of the hardest available fights at the time of release, and each tier must be beaten in order (with all perfect mission objectives) before you unlock the next one.

Friend units are not usable in these fights, and the characters used to beat one tier will not be available for use in other tiers, unless you “unlock” the tier by completing the fight again with a different team. And each higher tier is only available if you have a Perfect marker in every tier below it. You may unlock them as often as you want without losing the rewards or the framed rank plate you have already unlocked, but you will be unable to try the new tiers that come later until you again get a Perfect marker in all previous ones.

Speaking of rewards, every Entropy tier perfected awards you with 20 red nuggets (enough for 2 ingots used in EX+ weapon upgrades) and 60 blue nuggets (enough for 3 ingots used in EX+ armor upgrades). You also get different colored plates depending on how high you have climbed (with different colors for tiers 1-5, 6-10, etc). Lastly, you also get a lot of fun testing your roster against the hardest fights the game can throw at us, and since it is permanent content, there is no rush to complete it.
